Shawmut Announces Accreditation of Test Facility
Port Huron, Mich.,
Nov 8, 2005 -- Shawmut Advance Material Solutions, the leading independent supplier of laminated material in North America, announced the accreditation of its test facility by American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, the largest certification body for the accreditation of test facilities in the US. The newly accredited facility allows on site testing for compliance with a number of regulatory and industry standards, as well as performance related criteria.
The on site testing will reduce the turn around time and the cost of product test significantly. In addition, the facility will enable timely investigation and resolution of quality issues. The facility offers a highly trained technical staff and rapid turn arounds for headliner, bodycloth and vinyl composites.
